Cause

Dogs are prone to food poisoning if they eat foods such as spoiled, rotten meat, fish and yogurt. Diagnosis points

When the poisoning is severe, it can cause convulsions, restlessness , difficulty breathing and severe convulsions.

Treatment

The emetic agent apomorphine can be injected intravenously at the initial stage of onset, and its dosage is 0.04 mg/kg body weight. If necessary, perform gastric lavage, fluid replacement and appropriate symptomatic treatment. At the same time, the poisoned dog was given starvation therapy and the feeding was stopped.
