1. Skin diseases caused by fatty acid deficiency

Fatty acids are the main components of cell membranes and have the function of synthesizing prostaglandins and preventing the loss of epithelial water. When essential fatty acids are lacking, in addition to the reduction of reproduction rate, skin wounds are difficult to heal, dandruff increases, the skin forms pyoderma, hair loss, and edema. Moist dermatitis appeared in the external auditory canal and between the toes. When unsaturated fatty acids are lacking, it is easy to cause xanthosis, and the skin becomes nodular and painful. It can be treated with vitamin E at a dosage of 50 mg/kg body weight and shared with corticosterone. To inhibit inflammation, the dosage is 1 mg/kg body weight.

2. Skin diseases caused by deficiency of trace elements

First, zinc deficiency, dry, thickened skin on the face, toes, palms, and abdomen, and the formation of crusts and hair loss. In particular, the lesions of the mouth, eyelids, anus, and toes are the most obvious. It can be taken orally in mixed feed with 200-300 mg of zinc sulfate for 1 to 2 weeks.

Second, copper deficiency. Change of coat color, rough skin, hair loss, anemia, diarrhea. Available copper sulfate 5 mg/kg body weight orally.
